...and I'm already on the internet. How do you like that.
For the next month, I will be posting photos, writings and (hopefully) some videos recording my experience at the Elsewhere Artist Collaborative. If you're reading this, and you haven't been here-- I have to apologize in advance. I sincerely doubt any kind of media representation here could actually re-create the experience of walking into this space, let alone living and working within it.
But we can try! Right?!
At this point, I'm still trying to mentally navigate my way through this place -- physical navigation is coming a little bit easier today (I just made a meal and cleaned up all by myself!!!). There's quite a bit to take in, a lot of people to meet and talk to, and a lot of work, much of it that I'm still discovering, to absorb.
Here's my desk. This is my personal processing zone. Right now, as I type this, George is hammering a nail into it, but once he's finished with that, This becomes my space to personalize and work with. I'll try to take photos everyday, so you can see how things progress.
Tonight is Jason Workman's Artist Conversation. A lot of folks have been running around the last couple days setting everything up for tonight, from what I understand, he's got some great things planned for us. I would encourage you to come check it out if you're able.
Have you heard this, by the way?
Listening to it now. So, so good.
I'm going upstairs to start looking around, taking in what other;s have accomplished, and collecting things to consider. Want to come?
